Preparation

Confidence in our work is established by our preparation.


When we see people we admire, we see the outcome of their preparation, what we don't see are the years of training and practice that produced the results. We sometimes want the outcome without the input.


Which of course is delusional.


No professional athlete would ever consider not practicing and training on a consistent basis, knowing that if they didn't work consistently on their craft, they aren't going to be around for long, and the greatest performers are usually the hardest workers.


It shouldn't be any different for anyone in Sales.


We don't rise to the occasion in Sales, we fall to our level of Preparation.
