No matter how badly we want something to be a certain way - there is always the hard reality of the situation - and seeing this clearly - sooner than later - is a great skill to develop.
The problem isn't Reality - the problem is when we view it from our past experiences and old, outdated perspective. We have to consistently edit and upgrade our mental models of ourselves and the world.
