For anything that we want to do, need to do or hope to do, we will encounter resistance.
If we aren't vigilant, at some point we go from Growth machines, learning and developing, to flatlining at a given point.
The only real difference between humans and animals is the ability to learn and grow, and that doesn't have an end point.
To say we need to be lifelong learners, while true, is just an empty slogan until we are embodying the phrase.
Change, fear of the unknown, lack of conviction, supposed self-protection, all can keep us stuck in the moment.
It's hard.
David Goggins summed up everything he has learned through his amazing exploits - "the best advice I can give you, is to do hard things".
Thats where the growth is, on the other side of the Resistance.
I love this, Steve!
