Besides the title of my book, this idea represents the unusual (and unlikely) combination of two aspirations.
Sales: A set of activities around and ultimately resulting in the exchange of money for goods and services.
Hero: The main character in a story who typically embarks upon a journey, overcomes obstacles, and achieves a significant goal, often for the benefit of others.
If this feels a little uncomfortable, it's because this perspective will require something of us.
Something we would prefer not to consider (because of the ramifications involved):
An enlarged vision of our Life and Work. (LifeWork)
When you reach a milestone or accomplish a goal and yet feel empty, even after expecting some lasting satisfaction, it's because it is the journey that creates the growth.
Any growth, however small, by definition transforms us into something different.
Jim Rohn said that "the primary purpose of goals is not just to achieve them or get something, but what they make of you to accomplish them."
Becoming a Sales Hero takes character, discipline, and skills.
The good news is that ALL skills can be developed, and it is the developed skill that changes outcomes.

It's a Process and a Journey worth taking.
